Round 2 of PGL Major Stockholm 2021 Challengers Stage

In the second round, the standings took on an understandable look, since the teams were pre-divided into two baskets of winners and losers. However, this did not prevent Astralis from showing itself from the worst side once again, this time losing to the Entropiq team.

The matches of the championship outsiders turned out to be interesting. And if Renegades made a beautiful comeback against paiN, then TYLOO still retained its advantage on the Mirage map, having won the first victory in this tournament.

The Copenhagen Flames team, which this time turned out to be stronger than BIG on Nuke, continued to walk the victorious path. The duel between Heroic and MOUZ turned out to be no less interesting, in which the Danish team rehabilitated themselves for a difficult start at PGL Major Stockholm 2021, having confidently dealt with the opponent.

The FaZe Clan team also found their victory, which, having gained a wealth of experience, managed to put the squeeze on ENCE on Dust 2. At the end of the game day, Virtus.pro gave us a great comeback against Movistar Riders, showing strong attacking play on the Vertigo map.

Tomorrow, October 27, eight matches of the third round of the championship will take place. Half of them will be held in the BO3 format, since they will be decisive in the tournament prospects for the playing teams.

PGL Major Stockholm 2021 runs from October 26 to November 7 in Sweden. 24 teams are competing for a prize pool of $ 2,000,000, as well as BLAST Premier and ESL Pro Tour points. The championship playoffs will take place at the Avicii Arena with spectators, while the early stages of the championship take place in a studio format.
