PGL Major Stockholm 2021: Entropiq and ENCE advance to basket 2-1

Today's game day was successful for two more participants in the championship. This time ENCE and Entropiq were the lucky ones.

The confrontation between ENCE and MOUZ took place on Nuke. There Snappi and his teammates were able to take 9 rounds from MOUZ in the first half. Ropz and his teammates, after the transition, according to all Nuke laws, should have comeback to win this meeting, since the remaining rounds are usually easier to play on the stronger side. Nevertheless, ENCE managed to surprise their opponents and prevailed in this Bo1 confrontation.

The last match for the participants of the third round with a score of 1-1 showed the struggle between Movistar Riders and Entropiq on the Mirage map. The first half ended 9-6 in favor of El1an and his teammates. Entropiq, by the way, started on the defense side. After the transition, the tendency for poor performance of the Movistar Riders players continued and the team did not manage to take more than 12 rounds in this confrontation with Entropiq. Meeting with such a result allowed Entropiq to advance to the top matches of the fourth round, while the Movistar Riders will play in the bottom matches of the fourth elimination round.

Four more interesting matches await us ahead. In the lower matches, there will be a duel between Astralis and GODSENT, as well as a meeting between paiN Gaming and Sharks Esports. The losing participants of the matches will finish their way in the Major tournament today, and the winners will go to the lower matches of the fourth round. In the upper bracket of the third round, Virtus.pro will play against FaZe Clan, and Heroic will play against Copenhagen Flames. The winners will secure a place in the playoffs, and the losers of the above fights will go to the fourth round in order to try to reach the final stage again.

Following the results of the two matches that ended earlier today, Team Spirit and BIG entered the upper bracket of the fourth round, defeating TYLOO and Renegades. If the confrontation of the latter was anything but interesting and ended with a score of 16-9, then Spirit practically did not feel their rivals and beat TYLOO with a result of 16-3. PGL Major Stockholm 2021 started on October 26 and will end on November 7. The total prize pool of the championship is a record $ 2,000,000. Half of the prize money will go into the winner's pocket, while the silver medalist will receive $ 300,000.
