NAVI will take part in Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge 2020
After the completion of IEM Beijing Online 2020, all the participants in the upcoming Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge 2020 were determined. The list of invited teams included NAVI, Astralis, Vitality and others.
Heroic received an invite, as they won the DreamHack Open Fall 2020 Europe, FURIA Esports earned an invitation as the winner of IEM New York 2020 NA, and Team Vitality and Chaos Esports Club, in turn, received invites, as they won the IEM Beijing 2020 in Europe and North America, respectively.
The other four participants were invited to the long-awaited Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge 2020, as they received the highest number of ESL Pro Tour rating points. The favorites included Astralis, Complexity Gaming, Evil Geniuses and Natus Vincere.
Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge 2020 will be held online from December 15 to 20. The total prize pool of the championship will be $ 500,000, and the eight teams listed above will be involved in its distribution. The winner will take home the main cash prize of $ 200,000 and 3,000 BLAST Premier Ranking Points. The vice-champion, in turn, will earn $ 100,000 and 1,500 BLAST Premier rating points.
