The third game day of VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters Berlin has come to an end, following which 100 Thieves became the first participant in the playoffs. At the same time, we propose to refresh the memory of the main points that were remembered within the framework of the next day of the championship.

However, at Icebox, the G2 team still managed to strike up an intrigue, not allowing a comeback from the Sentinels. And yet, on the third decisive map, the North Americans took their toll, showing confident defense on Haven - 13: 8.

Gambit - 100 Thieves

In the evening, we learned the name of the first participant in the VCT 2021 playoffs: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin. The fight began under the dictation of Gambit, which tore apart the rival in its choice to smithereens. The Russian team continued to dominate at Icebox, at some point coming close to the cherished victory at a distance of two rounds. However, here 100 Thieves turned on, making a beautiful comeback, and at the same time snatching the victory from the opponent's hands.

In the end, everything was decided on the third map, on which the advantage had already shifted towards the North Americans. In such a situation, 100 Thieves had no choice but to squeeze Gambit and earn a ticket to the playoffs.

Today, September 13, the group stage will continue with three meetings. Team Envy and KRÜ Esports will play for the second place in the playoffs. Following them, the place in the next stage will be challenged by Vision Strikers and Acend. In the evening, the Sentinels will try to get their second victory, facing F4Q.

VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin takes place from September 10-19 at the Verti Music Hall with a total prize pool of $ 700,000. The winner of the tournament will receive not only a solid cash prize, but also the right to take part in VALORANT Champions 2021 at the end of the year, which will also be held in Berlin.
