Valorant Champions 2024 Overview
Throughout 2024, professional teams have been battling it out in various stages of the VALORANT Champions tournament. The very first stage is the Challengers stage. Teams from different countries showcased their best play, securing positions that reflected their strength.
The next stage is the Masters. In this stage, the leading teams from all regions competed against each other on their path to VALORANT Champions. It is at the Masters stage where teams had the chance to prove themselves on a global level.
Finally, we reach the ultimate stage - VALORANT Champions 2024. Here, the best teams from around the world are ready to fight for the title of champion. Champions is the culmination of the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT).
Format and Structure
The tournament will be conducted in two stages: the group stage and the playoffs.
The group stage will take place from August 1 to August 11, 2024, featuring four groups in a double-elimination format (GSL). Each group will have four teams, and all matches will be played in a Best of 3 format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.
The playoffs will be held from August 14 to August 18 and from August 23 to August 25, 2024, in a double-elimination format. All matches, except for the lower bracket final and the grand final, will be played in a Best of 3 format. The lower bracket final and the grand final will be played in a Best of 5 format.
Prize Pool
Riot Games has announced a prize pool for the tournament, with the top teams from around the world competing for $2,250,000 USD.

Dates and Venue
VALORANT Champions 2024 will take place from August 1 to August 25, just like in previous years. Unlike the previous year, where teams competed in Los Angeles, the 2024 event will be held in two major cities in Korea, Seoul and Incheon.
The group stage will be held in Seoul at the COEX Shinhan Artium Korea arena from August 1 to August 18. After a five-day break, the global event will move to Incheon, where the playoff stage will be held. It will take place at the INSPIRE ARENA, which hosted the VCT 2024: Pacific Stage 2, from August 23 to August 25.
