"Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora": First DLC coming in summer 2024

The adventure on the blue planet Pandora goes into the next round! The game "Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora" is getting two more DLCs. Developer Ubisoft has now announced the timetable for the upcoming release.

When director James Cameron visited the wondrous planet for the first time in the 2009 cinema year in "Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora", he created a blockbuster with millions of fans. Fascinated by the moving story of the Na'vi, the audience was taken on a breathtaking journey into the distant galaxy. The sequel "Avatar: The Way of Water" followed in December 2022 and the third part of the fantasy epic is due to be released in December 2025.

Those responsible are still withholding an exact date for the release of the DLCs. However, the popular Ubisoft Forward showcase has been announced for 10 June 2024. The chance that further information will be officially confirmed at this event is extremely high. The developer has already provided insights into its upcoming AAA titles at this digital event in the past.

A release this summer can still be expected, at least for "The Sky Breaker". "Secrets of the Spires" is set to follow later in autumn. However, further story details and possible quests are still being kept under wraps.

In addition to details on the "Avatar" DLCs, the upcoming Ubisoft Foward will also focus on another top title. The celebrated "Assassin's Creed" series will enter the next round in November 2024 with "Shadows". Originally announced as "Red", the recently released trailer gave the first insight into the changed title and story clues. "Assassin's Creed" is one of Ubisoft's most commercially successful series. Since the release of part 1 in 2007, which was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox360, the game has created a large community that finds numerous links and crossover details to other games in the series in the branching storyline. The most recent title, Mirage, was released in November 2023 and took players through the narrow streets of Baghdad. Now it's off to Japan in the 16th century, where a fierce war rages and challenges the skills of the Shadow Warriors.

The second half of the year should therefore be full of surprises and intense quests for gaming fans. Whether on the imaginative planet of Pandora or on the battlefields of Japan, Ubisoft has plenty of hours of gaming to look forward to.
