Fortnite Remix Map Overview: Points of Interests, NPC, Areas, and Everything That Awaits Us in OG Fortnite 2024

In November 2024, Epic Games introduced Fortnite Remix featuring Old School Hip-Hop artist Snoop Dogg and early 2000s rap star Eminem. Joining them was modern artist Ice Spice, dressed in a Y2K outfit. This combination of legends and a fresh star perfectly symbolizes the season’s content — OG locations and OG weapons from the iconic Chapter 2, mixed with innovations like Nike Kicks.
The Fortnite Remix Map is based on Apollo Island from the beginning of Chapter 2. Each week, a new remixed location will appear on the island.
Players used to write "I really miss it…" on web pages describing and showing removed locations — developers heard them, fulfilled their wishes, and tapped into nostalgia.
Which OG Locations are in the Chapter 2 Remix?

In the first week, we’ll have a map with twelve locations from Chapter 2 and three from Chapter 1. Drop into this map and feel the essence of OG Fortnite. It features mostly green landscapes, two beach towns, a forest, snow-capped mountains, and no desert. All rivers lead to a small island in the center of the map — The Doggpound, a popular location with a boss. This is a remixed version of the spy base, The Agency, now owned by Snoop Dogg.
Chapter Two:

Craggy Cliffs – This looks like a typical tourist town for active hobbies. As the northernmost point of the map, few players landed here, making it a good spot for loot and fishing! Originally named Beachy Bluffs, this name was later reused for a landmark on Asteria.

Dirty Docks – Containers, cranes, and warehouses by the sea. Like the previous location, it was added in Chapter 2, Season 1 on Apollo Island. It references Dusty Depot from Chapter 1. If you come here later after landing, you’re unlikely to encounter opponents.

Frenzy Farm – Cornfields, barns, a large house, and loot-filled huts, which were completely destroyed as part of the Upstate New York initiative in Chapter 2, Season 4. This location is top-notch for watching the sunset on the map.

Holly Hedges – A prosperous "live and thrive" neighborhood. This location and Salty Springs are references to Holly Springs, North Carolina, a town near Epic Games’ headquarters. During Chapter 2, Season 8, it was the second smallest location on the map.

Lazy Lake – A full-fledged town for "live and move": houses, offices, gyms, bus stops, gas stations, a restaurant, and recreational areas. Its layout resembles Tilted Towers, leading players to call it Tilted 4.0. This was the first place where No Sweat Insurance, an insurance company responsible for fixing the island after the flood, appeared.

Misty Meadows – A European-style town similar to Happy Hamlet from Chapter 1’s map, except it’s situated on a meadow rather than a snowy area. During Chapter 2, Seasons 3 and 4, this spot had the most chests on the map.

Slurpy Swamp – A large swamp with rivers of water mixed with Slurp, allowing players to dip in for health and shields. On the southern edge of the swamp is a shack containing a large Slurp Juice tank, a hospital bed, and a coffin, and outside the shack, there is a small graveyard with two graves. This suggests that Slurp Juice may be secretly testing its product on humans, and that juice prototypes caused the deaths of at least two test subjects.

Steamy Stacks – Two cooling towers for a nuclear reactor. It’s possible that Steamy Stacks was created by the state-run Pressure Plant factory after the Chapter 1 map was sucked into a black hole during The End event.

Sweaty Sands – Five-star summer vacations. This POI was a beach town with a large hotel, several houses, and a long pier. Initially named "Sunny Shores."

The Rig – An oil rig owned by the Spillexx company, located near Slurpy Swamp. The TNTina boss can be found here.

The Yacht – A luxurious ship owned by Midas, located northwest of Craggy Cliffs. Currently, a remix version of this boss, Meowdas, is present. In April 2020, Deadpool took over the yacht, but it was heavily damaged in the v13.00 update, becoming a landmark.

Weeping Woods – A forest with wooden fort posts. During Chapter 2, Season 4, the Wolverine boss roamed here, dropping the iconic Mythic Claws.
Chapter One:

Pleasant Park – A youth town with a park and soccer field in the center. During Chapter 2, Season 4, it was renamed Doom’s Domain when it became the home of Marvel villain Doctor Doom.

Retail Row – A strip mall area near a small town. This time, it’s relocated to the snowy mountains. Along with Pleasant Park, it has existed since the beginning of Fortnite: Battle Royale, being the oldest POIs in Fortnite’s history, lasting through 20 seasons, from pre-season to Season 8, then returning in Season X to Chapter 2: Season 8, then reappearing in Chapter 4: Season OG, and finally, in Chapter 5: Season 3 Reboot.

Salty Springs – A small village with houses, a gas station, and steep hills. Before Chapter 2, it had two hidden bunkers.
Fortnite Reload in Chapter 2 Remix

In the separate mode Reload, which features a unique respawn function as long as your teammates are alive, players now have the option to play solo ranked and unranked matches.
The Oasis map is smaller than the classic island, consisting mainly of desert terrain with refreshed locations like Paradise Palms, Shifty Shafts, and Lazy Links.
Starting November 12, the map will rotate every 30 minutes between Oasis and the original Reload Venture. Players will be able to see the current map in the lobby before starting the game.
NPC in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix

Snoop Dogg: Located in The Doggpound (center of the island). Drops Snoop's Drum Gun and a key card for Snoop Dogg's Vault.

Meowdas: Located on The Yacht (top right corner of the island). Drops the Meowdas Peow Peow Rifle and a key card for Meowdas’s Vault.

Dynamo TNTina: Located on The Rig (bottom left of the island). Drops the Ka-Boom Bow and a key card for Dynamo TNTina’s Vault.
These bosses guarding the vaults are truly OG. Obtain the key card, open the vault, and claim epic loot.

Among the classic NPCs roaming the map are Fishstick, Brutus, Reese, Tess, and others. Upgrade weapons with their help, pick up shields, and enjoy the nostalgia of Fortnite OG 2024.
Upcoming NPCs

Eminem and Ice Spice will be the next NPCs to appear in the coming days. According to Epic Games, Eminem will arrive in the second week, starting November 7, 2024. He will be located in the Spaghetti Grotto and will join your team if you defeat him in battle. He will also gift you his Mythic RG Minigun, allowing you to become a "Rap God" in Fortnite.

Ice Spice will arrive on the island during the third week, starting November 14, 2024. She will be located at the POI called Ice Isle. If you defeat her, she will not only join your team but also offer you two mythic weapons: Ice Spice’s Grappler and Ice Spice’s Rifle. By the way, both she and Snoop Dogg will have the same outfits in the game as they did at the Fortnite Concert in New York City, where they performed to welcome players to the new season.

There is also a chance that in the fourth week, beginning on November 21, 2024, a location called WRLD Point will appear, where you can meet Juice WRLD. On November 30, a Live Event honoring him, titled Remix: The Finale, will take place.
Conclusion
The OG Fortnite 2024 map is filled with the vibe of early and iconic chapters. Playing this season is pure joy for veteran players. Over the month, the map will evolve and refresh. Watch as the remix composition builds week by week.
Through reimagining players' favorite era, Fortnite introduces new levels of self-expression for future gameplay.
