What was shown at Xbox Games Showcase 2023?

The day before the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 was held. What did you expect from the "showcase" in the first place? Well, at the very least, we saw some The International Heresy announcements. However, most of the presentation was devoted to Bethesda Softworks trying to sell us Starfield for over half an hour.

In any case, the summer was marked by several notable exhibitions, with a dozen new products being unveiled. In particular, we recently got a look at the announcements that saw the light of day during the recent PlayStation Showcase 2023. Also we shouldn't forget about Summer Game Fest 2023, which we have reviewed in the previous article.

And now we want to walk through the games that the developers have presented to us during the last Xbox Games Showcase 2023.

Fable.

PlayGround Games has unveiled a new Fable. Unfortunately, no details are available, nor is there a release date. However, it is known that the project will be available on Game Pass right away.

South of Midnight.

Also the developers from Compulsion Games revealed the South of Midnight. As with the previous announcement, fans were deprived of the exact release date. However, we know for sure, that the game will appear on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and even on Steam.

Star Wars: Outlaws

A new entry in the Star Wars universe can't be overlooked either. Ubisoft Massive and Lucasfilm Games have officially unveiled Star Wars: Outlaws, a new sandbox game coming exclusively to Xbox Series X|S next year.

33 Immortals

As the name suggests, the multiplayer project from Thunder Lotus will be open to 33 players. RPG 33 Immortals will be released in 2024 on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Xbox Game Pass.

Payday 3.

It's been a decade since the second installment of the heist series was released. But suddenly Starbreeze Studios have decided to unveil Payday 3. Expect it to arrive on September 21 this year on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 with anticipation.

Avowed

Not without Obsidian Entertainment, who finally revealed the role-playing game Avowed. The expected release date is next year. The project will be introduced for Xbox Series X|S and PC, and will also appear on Game Pass.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

It's time for flight enthusiasts to get ready and buckle up. The developers have unveiled Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, where they've added a bunch of heresy content. Among them are planes from the Dune movies. As usual, the project is set to launch next year.

Ninja Theory studio also showed us new video for Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2. It is known that the project will see the light next year on Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

New details (trailer) have been shared by Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. Here they have shown Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth - the game is due out next year for Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Fallout 76 add-on

Bethesda Softworks has presented fans of the series with the next addition to Fallout 76. The next destination for those wandering around the wasteland is Atlantic City. On the other hand, the developers have not announced the exact date of the add-on release.

Forza Motorsport

What Microsoft-Xbox exhibition will pass without Forza Motorsport. Here again we have been shown beautiful cars, colorful scenery and were told about the physics improvement. You will be able to evaluate the creation already on October 10, 2023, but only on Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The Elder Scrolls Online

It's a shame it's not another expanded edition for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and yet. The developers haven't forgotten about their multiplayer mode, if you can call it that. Now we've got an upcoming add-on for The Elder Scrolls Online, called Shadow of Morrowind. By the way, it will be released very soon - on June 20.

Starfield.

Also Bethesda Softworks didn't forget to tell about their main project of the last years - Starfield. The fans were shown the trailer, and the game itself will be released on September 6, 2023 for Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Jusant

A new game from Don't Nod Entertainment called Jusant. The interesting action puzzle game should be released this fall on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Still Wakes the Deep

Another The International heresy project, which is being handled by Secret Mode and The Chinese Room. New horror Still Wakes the Deep is set for release next year. It is expected that the novelty will visit the consoles from Sony, as well as PC and Xbox Series X|S.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

The Xbox Games Showcase 2023 presentation turned out to be a heresy one. Of course, many were expecting much more, but in the current reality even the projects that have been presented can already dampen expectations for bigger games and sequels.
