ESL will host IEM New York 2020 Online

Intel Extreme Masters New York 2020 Online is scheduled to start on October 6th. The championship will be divided into two divisions: the American and the CIS region. In America and the CIS division there will be $ 60,000 and $ 50,000 raffles between 12 teams, respectively. The European teams are more fortunate - they will share $ 140,000 between each other.

Who will receive direct invitations to the championships will be announced later.

In the competitive process of CS: GO this year, for the first time, a system of rating events was introduced. The new series is called Regional Major Rankings, and in the tournaments related to it, in addition to cash, rating points are also played. IEM New York 2020 Online was the last tournament in this series.

Initially, ESL One Rio 2020 was supposed to take place from May 11 to 24, but now the start has been postponed to November 9.
