IEM Katowice 2021 will be held without spectators

The organizers have taken a step towards offline, but they will still hold the upcoming tournament without spectators as it should be now. In addition, we now know the list of invited bands, including NAVI, G2, Vitality, Astralis and others.

ESL wants IEM Katowice 2021 to be in studio format. If the situation with the coronavirus becomes complicated, then they will be forced to move the event online, for which, in fact, they are already ready.

Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2021 will take place from 16 to 28 February. The total prize fund of the tournament will be $ 1,000,000, and 24 teams will be involved in dividing it, 8 of which have reached the main stage, and 16 others will play in Play-In. This stage, by the way, will take place from 16 to 17 February, and matches in groups will take place from 18 to 21. The final meetings will take place on February 26-28.

IEM Katowice 2020 took place in the same arena and also without spectators. Then Natus Vincere won.
