What awaits us in Group C at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2021?
general information
Today is a day of rest for the participants of the ongoing BLAST Premier Spring Series 2021, and therefore we will tell you about what to expect from the upcoming fights that will be held within the framework of this tournament. Let us remind you that the event started on February 4 and will end on the 14th. Within its framework, a total prize pool of $ 150,000 is raffled off. In addition, the participants compete for six invitations to the final part of the BLAST Premier Spring Series 2021 tournament. There, by the way, a $ 425,000 fund and one invite to the Global Final 2021 with a prize of $ 1,000,000 will be drawn.
The coveted invites to the final part are received by the top-2 teams from each kvartet. The remaining teams are forced to go down to BLAST Premier Spring Series 2021 Showdown, where they will get another chance to make it to Spring Finals 2021.
What happened before?
Based on the results of the past matches, we have already learned that BIG and Complexity Gaming took first places in their groups and received rewards of $ 25,000, while NiP and EG took second positions and earned $ 12,500 each. All of the aforementioned rosters made it to Spring Finals 2021. Astralis, G2 Esports, OG and Vitality, in turn, did not perform as well as their opponents, and therefore finished their way in the championship and will go to Spring Showdown 2021.
What's next?
Ahead of us are the last matches of the BLAST Premier Spring Series 2021 group stage. Such teams as NAVI, MIBR, FaZe Clan and Team Liquid will compete in Group C.
NAVI vs MIBR
In the fight between NAVI and MIBR, the situation is not very clear. On the one hand, Natus Vincere is one of the strongest CS: GO teams in the world, which ranks second in the world rating from HLTV. On the other hand, NAVI is capable of losing in the first confrontations even when it would seem impossible to lose. They will be opposed by MIBR, which is in 37th position in the list of the best CS: GO teams according to the version, and the history of head-to-head matches of the rosters is still empty. We do not believe that MIBR will perform with such high enthusiasm that they will beat Natus Vincere in the first fight, but anything can happen. As a result, we believe that if NAVI is defeated, they will be able to rehabilitate themselves and beat their opponent in the lower bracket and ultimately reach the grand final, thanks to which they will provide themselves with an invitation to a tournament with a prize pool of $ 425,000. FaZe Clan vs Team Liquid
In the second match, FaZe Clan and Team Liquid will face each other. This meeting will also be very interesting and even in some way principled. The FaZe Clan has been joined by ex-Team Liquid player Russell 'Twistzz' Van Dalken, who will face off against representatives from the club he has called his home for five years. Hence, he may have an overwhelming motivation to win. Nevertheless, one cannot ignore the fact that there is no captain in the FaZe roster, and therefore the game is not built as efficiently as it could have been with an in-game leader. According to rumors, karrigan will soon join the ranks of FaZe Clan and then the roster may start playing in a new way, however, with good results, the team, due to the absence of a captain, may wait a little. Liquid, in turn, began to play a little more cheerful with the arrival of FalleN. Note that when the Brazilian legionary joined the squad, all the spectators thought that he would become the new captain. To the surprise of the audience, Stewie2k loves to coordinate so much and does it so well that Gabriel Toledo announced that he would be just a sniper, without taking on the duties of an in-game leader.
