RMR tournaments for the CIS and Oceania announced

The official announcement of the EPIC League CIS RMR, the first rating championship for the CIS, took place. The event will be organized by Epic Sports Events (known for EPICENTER tournaments) and the Russian Computer Sports Federation.

The tournament kicks off on May 8 when the open qualifiers kick off. From May 9 to May 12, a closed qualifier will take place, from where eight teams will get to the final event. The group stage will be held on the Swiss system for 16 teams from May 12 to 23, the playoffs for 8 teams from May 24 to 30.

In addition, Epic Sports Events has won the right to host the RMR Tournament for Oceania. Details on the EPIC League Oceania RMR are limited, but organizers said the open qualifier will take place on May 23rd, while the playoffs will take place from May 23rd to May 30th.

Within the framework of two championships, RMR points will be awarded, which will be useful for qualifying for the PGL Stockholm Major. The prize pool of the EPIC League CIS RMR will be $ 40,000, while the EPIC League Oceania RMR will offer the participating teams $ 10,000.
