The participation of two more teams at Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2021 has come to an end. The teams were defeated two steps away from reaching the playoffs of IEM Cologne. In the fight against BIG, Team Liquid could not take a single card. They took 11 rounds from their German opponents on Vertigo and prevailed in 13 out of 16 rounds required on Nuke. Tomorrow will be the last day for the group stage. Based on its results, the final list of teams that made it to the playoffs will be formed. At the moment, Gambit Esports, G2 Esports, NAVI and Astralis have already secured their place in the final stage. The four reached the final of the upper bracket in their groups, where they will fight for a place in the semifinals. The losing squads will go to the quarterfinals, the winners will go to the semifinals.
