Xyp9x will not help Astralis in the ESL Pro League Season 14

Danish esports organization Astralis announced that within Xyp9x it will not help Astralis team within ESL Pro League Season 14. Lucky will take his place in the main roster, who joined the team during the international break.

An official announcement from the organization says the 18-year-old sniper will represent the team during the match against Team Spirit. However, there is every right to believe that the changes will affect not only a specific match, but the entire championship as a whole.

As a reminder, today, August 16, Xyp9x announced that it is ready to leave Astralis. The 25-year-old player announced this on his Twitter account. The Dane said he was already considering possible options for continuing his career. These rumors are backed up by fresh interviews with the esports player, as well as the end of the contract at the end of this year.

Given the regional regulations during the RMR process, which penalize player rotation with penalty points, it is unlikely that the Danes will unnecessarily change their squad and face penalties ahead of the two upcoming RMR tournaments.

The 25-year-old Danish player has been playing for Astralis since the team was formed in 2016. During this time, Xyp9x became the winner of four World Championships, and also won such prestigious tournaments as ELEAGUE CS: GO Premier 2018 and BLAST Pro Series: Global Final 2019.
