The team Ninjas in Pyjamas have improved their play level recently and have got to the eigth position in the rating of the best teams according to HLTV, but the guys cannot boast about their achievements in 2018 - the roster took the 7-8 position at cs_summit 2 and the 5-6 place at Intel Extreme Masters XII - World Championship and DreamHack Masters Marseille 2018. Recently, the roster has managed to get the second place during the European division of ESL Pro League Season 7, which provides the with a trip to LAN.

The roster hold the fifth place in the European division of  ECS Season 5 having 24 points, as well as G2 eSports, but stays behind a little with the quantity of the won rounds. NiP won over Gambit eSports, Mousesports and GODSENT, but the matches against Astralis and Fnatic ended in a defeat for the guys. The draws were the results of the matches against  Team EnVyUs and FaZe Clan, while the meeting against Virtus.pro was postponed due to the Internet problem of Virtus.pro. The Swedish players picked the map “Inferno”, where they have performed 19 times this year having 14 wins.

In January, G2 eSports held the fourth position in the rating of the best world teams according to HLTV.org, but they couldn’t even approach the win at the major tournament, so they decided to exclude shox, the captain of the team. He was replaced by mixwell, but the results of the collective worsened and at the moment the roster hold the eleventh place in the world rating.

This year the collective have taken the 5-8 position at ELEAGUE Major and StarLadder & i-League StarSeries Season 4, and after the replacement they couldn’t achieve more than the tenth place at the tournaments of the series of IEM Katowice, DreamHack Marseille 2018 and ESL Pro League Season 7 - Europe. G2 eSports have a statistics of eight won matches and six lost ones at the current tournament - the guys let Astralis win, the matches against FaZe Clan, GODSENT, mousesports and Virtus.Pro ended in a draw and then they defeated the teams Gambit eSports and Fnatic.

The bookmakers think that NiP are questionable favourites of the meeting and set the coefficient of their win of 1.7, while G2 eSports’ triumph is evaluated as 2.1. We think that the Swedish players now look stronger and due to the fact that they have recently won over G2 on the same maps during ESL Pro League Season 7, the collective must win this meeting as well.
