On his Telegram channel, ex-professional player and part-time streamer and analyst Yaroslav 'NS' Kuznetsov said that he was skeptical about the theory of Chinese fans who claim the planned scenario of what happened at The International 10. He believes that the tournament is of such a large scale can not be carried out according to a pre-planned scenario.

NS believes that the scenario theory originated from a person who was simply angry about the situation (probably because of a lost bet). Despite this, Yaroslav Kuznetsov agrees that even The International 10 could not be fully protected from match-fixing:
