The distribution of teams in the group stage of The International 2024 has been revealed

A few days before the main esports event in Dota 2, The International 2024, the organisers Valve and PGL have announced the group line-ups for the group stage of the event. In general, fans will see quite competitive quartets in the first two days of the championship.

The first part of The International 2024 Long Qualifier will start with the group stage, which will begin on the 4th of September. All participants will be divided into four Round Robin format groups of four. All matches will be played in bo2 format. Teams will battle for seeding on Seeding Decider. The top 2 participants from each group will be matched with the teams ranked 3-4th in the groups. The matches of the Seeding Decider stage will be played in bo3 format. In the group stage and in the Seeding Decider no team leaves the competition. Participants compete for the top and bottom of the play-offs grid.

Recall that The International 2024 takes place from the 4th to the 15th of September this year in LAN-format. Sixteen strongest teams from all over the world will gather at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark, to determine the Dota 2 World Champion.
