The list of ESL One CIS Online Season 1: Upper Division participants has been completed

After the completion of the closed qualifying round for ESL One CIS Online Season 1: Upper Division, we learned the names of the last teams that will take part in the competition. In addition, we know the names of the new members in the Lower Division.
In the last qualifying matches, EXTREMUM defeated B8 Esports 2-0, while NoPangolier beat Winstrike 2-1. Thus, the winners of the meetings became the last participants in the upper division of ESL One CIS Online Season 1.
Previously, such teams as Virtus.pro, NAVI, Team Spirit and Live to Win received direct invitations to this championship. Team Empire and NoTechies, in turn, became the first two participants to pass through the closed qualifier.
ESL One CIS Online Season 1: Upper Division will run from January 21 to February 26. The total prize pool of the championship will be $ 205,000 and two invites to the Major tournament. The winner will take home $ 30,000 and an invite to the playoffs, while the silver medalist will receive a $ 28,000 prize and an invitation to the group stage. The team that takes the 3rd place will earn $ 27,000 and an invite to the Wild Card tournament, where it will again be able to compete for its invitation to the Major championship.
In parallel to these matches, there will be meetings in the lower division, but there the prize pool will be $ 75,000. The winner and runner-up will receive $ 17,000 and $ 16,000, respectively, and advance to the top division of next ESL One CIS Online season.
