Two teams were disqualified from the North America qualifiers to ESL One Katowice 2018.
The quarterfinal of ESL One Katowice 2018 North American Qualifier was more bumpy than everyone wanted. In the result of this stage, two teams were disqualified. Peter «ppd» Dager announced on his Twitter account that OpTic Gaming ended the participation in the qualifiers. David «MoonMeander» Tan told the same.

OpTic Gaming and Team Animal Planet played against each other during the qualifiers on StarLadder i-League Invitational Season 4. The teams were late for the match for 5 minutes, which resulted in disqualification from ESL. Now, they have no chance to get to the Major-tournament. VGJ.Storm, who should have played against Animal Planet, and CES, who should have played against OpTic, got technical wins and got to the semifinals.
A game between Animal Planet and OpTic Gaming ended with 2-1 score in favor of MoonMeander and his teammates. Today, the final match in the American qualifiers will be played and we’ll get to know the team that will go to the SL i-League Invitational #4.
