Katowice hosts a Dota 2 Major tournament

The first details of the second Dota 2 Major tournament became known from ESL - representatives of the organization published dates and a venue, a prize pool and a number of participants of the final stage.

The tournament ESL One Katowice 2018 will be hosted at Spodek Arena on February 20-25 and its prize pool amounts $1,000,000 and 1,500 Dota Pro Circuit points that are required to get to The International without passing regional qualifiers.

16 teams will take part in the final stage. Organizers will carry out qualifications in North and South America, China, Europe, CIS and Southeast Asia, however, a number of slots for each region is unknown.
