After a disappointing end to the season for Tundra Esports in the form of a 13-16th place finish at The International 2023. The organisation made the decision to drop its European Dota 2 roster. For a long time it was unknown whether Tundra would remain in Valve's esports discipline or not. But on the 10th of December, one day before the Long Conner ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, the management of the organisation announced the signing of a new team. It was Team Undying, the North American squad that was fired by TSM on the 5th of December. Thus, Tundra Esports has secured its participation in a major tournament from ESL. In the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023: North America Closed Qualifier, the team confidently defeated Fart Studios and Bammysoy 2-0, and in the top grid final Whitemon and his teammates defeated nouns in a full bo3 series. The grand final clash against the same nouns ended with a 3-2 victory for future Tundra players. Thus the team qualified for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, where they took 7th-8th place and received $47,500 as a reward. The team also made it to DreamLeague Season 22: Western Europe Open Qualifier #1, defeating such teams as Nightshade Esports, 5STARS Esports and Flawless. An attempt to qualify for the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024: WEU Closed Qualifier ended in a three-map loss to OG in the deciding game. But at DreamLeague Season 22: Western Europe Closed Qualifier the team was successful and secured their participation in the big championship.
Earlier Tundra Esports took part in ESL One Birmingham 2024: Western Europe Closed Qualifier. Their first opponent was Team Tickles. The 2-0 victory took Tundra to the semifinals of the top qualification grid. There the team met with OG and again Ledgeil them with the result 0:2. NAVI Junior did not create any big problems for Tundra players in the lower set. The victory on two maps in a row took Tundra Esports to the semi-finals of the final round, where Whitemon and his teammates outplayed Team Secret with the result 2:0. With a similar score Tundra Esports defeated Entity and travelled to the decisive match of the qualifiers, where they beat OG with a score of 3:1, securing their trip to Birmingham.
DreamLeague Season 22 started for Tundra Esports in Group B. Whitemon and his teammates drew with Team Spirit on the first day, and later Ledge and Chinese club Xtreme Gaming. The second game day started for Tundra Esports with a scandal. The team kicked MinD_ContRoL before the Long Sogpeg match against Shopify Rebellion.
