Six Invitational 2021: Team Empire advanced to the upper bracket of the playoffs
The group stage in both groups within the Six Invitational 2021 has come to an end. In Group A, the top four included such teams as Team Empire, BDS Esport, Team Liquid and FaZe Clan. Team One, DarkZero, FURIA, G2 and Cloud9 took 5-9 places and will advance to the lower bracket. The CYCLOPS athlete became the only team in Group A to complete their championship path.
As for Group B, TSM, MIBR, NiP and Oxygen Esports entered the top 4. The teams will start their way at the final stage of the event in the upper bracket. Mkers, Parabellum Esports and Spacestation Gaming, in turn, struggled to make their way to the lower bracket. It is noteworthy that the reigning world champions in the person of Spacestation barely made it to the playoffs. Giants Gaming had the worst result in Group B and finished their way in this Rainbow Six tournament.

The Six Invitational 2021 started on May 11 and will end on the 23rd. The total prize pool for the Rainbow Six World Championship is $ 3,000,000. The winner will take home the main prize of $ 1,000,000. Virtus.pro and WildCard Gaming were also supposed to take part in the competition, however, due to coronavirus problems, they withdrew from the event.
