100 Thieves and Team Envy advanced to the VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters Berlin semifinals, beating Acend (2: 1) and Sentinels (2: 0), respectively. Now the North American teams will compete for a ticket to the grand final of the championship.

In her match, 100 Thieves twice hung by a thread from defeat. Already on the first map, the North American team did not oppose anything against Acend, unexpectedly losing their own pick. Nevertheless, 100 Thieves managed to equalize, and at the same time get a chance to reach the semifinals. However, the North Americans almost missed their chance, making a forced comeback on Breeze. Yet 100 Thieves proved to be stronger in overtime, thus extending their journey through the tournament.

Late at night, an entertaining derby took place, in which Team Envy was able to work a miracle, beating the Sentinels. And if on Haven the guys from Team Envy still had to try, then on the second map the rival finally fell down, leaving the victory in the hands of the "dark horse".

The semi-finals of the VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters Berlin will take place today, 18 September. The first will feature a derby between Europe and the CIS, namely G2 and Gambit. Well, at the end of the game day, we will look at the North American derby - 100 Thieves against Team Envy.

VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters Berlin takes place from September 10-19 at the Verti Music Hall with a total prize pool of $ 700,000. The winner of the tournament will receive not only a solid cash prize, but also the right to take part in VALORANT Champions 2021 at the end of the year, which will also be held in Berlin.
