Détails de l'événement communautaire Arc Raiders

On November 13, Embark Studios released a major update for ARC Raiders — the Community Unlock Event: “Breaking New Ground”. This patch date marked the start of a global event where the Raider community works together to unlock the new map Stella Montis and participate in new gameplay mechanics.
The update brings new events, items, cosmetic sets, and balance improvements, making gameplay more dynamic and strategically engaging.
ARC Raiders Community Event Phases

The Breaking New Ground event is divided into sequential phases, each unlocking new opportunities for players and encouraging collaborative participation.
Phase I — Resource Collection
Players begin by donating basic materials from their inventory, including Metal Parts, Fabric, Plastic Parts, Rubber Parts, and Chemicals. Each donation grants Merits, the event currency, up to a maximum of 900 points. Once the community collectively reaches 100% completion for Phase I, the event progresses to Phase II.
Phase II — Staking Our Claim
After completing Phase I, a new progression track and new quests become available. Players gain access to the Stella Montis map and can participate in both individual and community activities. The event is global, meaning that every player’s contribution directly accelerates the overall progress toward unlocking the map. While Phase II details are fully accessible, the specifics of any subsequent phases beyond this point have not yet been revealed, leaving players anticipating what comes next.
New Cosmetic Sets

The patch updated the in-game store with two major cosmetic sets: Torpedo and Umbra.
The Torpedo Set includes multiple removable elements, such as the helmet, pauldrons, and sleeves, and offers color variants in red, black, and green, allowing players to create a unique look for their Raider. The Umbra Set also features removable elements like headgear, bags, and belts, along with a Hennis-style face tattoo, exclusive emote, and new hairstyles. These sets enhance visual diversity and help players stand out on the battlefield.
Events and New Enemies

The main event revolves around collectively restoring tunnels and unlocking the Stella Montis map. Players donate materials to earn Merits, which can later be exchanged for rewards, while their contributions advance the community toward unlocking the map. Developers increased the unlock requirements after the community progressed too quickly to ensure all players could enjoy the event.
Additional gameplay events include the Matriarch Event, featuring the massive ARC boss Matriarch (currently with spawn bugs), and the Security Breach Event, which involves finding and using key cards to access special consoles on the Blue Gate map. Security Lockers have also been nerfed due to previously overvalued loot, and the Security Breach system has been adjusted.
New ARC Enemies
The update introduces two new enemy types: Matriarch, a powerful ARC boss, and Shredder, a close-range combat machine debuting on Stella Montis.
New Items and Traps
Players now have access to new strategic tools, including the Gas Mine, Seeker Grenade (homing grenade), Deadline Grenade (timed explosive), a legendary weapon, and new mines. These additions allow for tactical gameplay and give players more options when combating ARC enemies.
Technical Improvements and Balance
Developers improved performance and gameplay fairness by reducing character movement latency, fixing multi-objective quest issues, correcting map collision errors, and shortening the delay between ARC shots and visual impact effects. Crafting and item adjustments include changes to Wolfpack, Launch Ammo, Spotter Relay, and other resources. Experience points (XP) distribution was also rebalanced, reducing XP for Bastion and Bombardier and increasing XP for Rocketeer Thruster and Leaper Leg to encourage diversified gameplay.
New Quests
Stella Montis also brings new quests for players seeking rewards and adventure, encouraging exploration of this mysterious northern facility.
This update focuses on working together as a community, facing new enemies, and earning rewards. By helping restore the tunnels, Raiders will unlock a new map and gain access to new content, weapons, and event currency to make their gameplay even more exciting.
