Feast of Pursuit: Stage 2 Overview

Genshin Event difficulty level guide
As in the last time on the Desperate level, the traveler will face four monsters at level 85. It is important to note that you can use additional buffs in the form of food to make the level more efficient.

Team Recommendation

As with Stage 2, you will be given a 75% DMG buff for Normal Attack and Elemental Skill after the characters use their Elemental Skill 8 times.
You can also get an additional 50% DMG if said characters were added in the last big Genshin Impact update with the Natlan region. For example if you have Kinich and Mualani (DPS from Natlan), it's best if you bring them so they can get 125% DMG Bonus for NA and Skill. But if you don't have them, don't feel bad as long as you have others the Main DPS' damage output is from Normal Attack and Elemental Skill.Based on the monster list, we can advise you to emphasize Cryo and Pyro characters, as it is an additional elemental reaction and it will allow you to control the situation more cautiously.
How to score a victory in Genshin event: Desperate

In the first wave, there will only be one Mirror Maiden to fight. Since there are no other enemies, you don't have to worry about anything other than the fact that this lady teleports around a lot. With the Freeze Team, you'll have her frozen for as long as she's in the arena. However, since there is only one enemy in this wave, it shouldn't be too hard to follow her if you bring other teams.

In the second wave, you will come face to face with 2 Eremite Elite enemies. Luckily, they won't summon their beasts right away. They'll only summon them when their HP drops below 70%. Until then, you can focus on either one of them, but make sure the other one is right behind the one you're attacking. That way, if the Eremite at the front is staggered, it will be close enough to the Eremite at the back.

The last wave contains a Hydro Wayob. This type of enemy will use an arena first: it will create a non-elemental shield around itself and it will absorb all of your energy. The Wayob will create a hydro shield based on the remaining shield if you do not manage to break it in time. You will gain a LOT of Energy if you manage to break it in time. Or you can just do it the way we do it and freeze the enemy so that he can't even move from the beginning to the end.
Difficulty: Steadfast
Things are much harder on the Steadfast difficulty, though you'll only have two level 105 monsters in front of you. As usual, the new Genshin Event will try to rattle our nerves to the max.

Team Recommendation

Again, the new enemies you will face will force us to completely change the squad, because we will have to break their Ward' bar using elemental damage. If you've played Nathlan's Story, you're already familiar with these enemies, but here things will be much tougher. The characters from Natlan (with their Nightsoul Burst) will be able to deal with their shield much faster. Why? Because the game is literally telling us so. But as with the previous difficulty level, you can still use your favorite characters to defeat those enemies.
How to score a victory in Genshin event: Steadfast

First of all, the enemies that you're going to face are called Chasmic Mimiflora. There are 2 of them in this stage, and they will mimic the Ruin Guard in wave 1 and the Secret Source Automaton in wave 2.
Some of their attacks can cause stackable Attrition, which will cause your active characters to lose HP over a period of time.
But more importantly, when they mimic, they'll have a 'Ward' bar, as you can see in the photo above. Use Elemental attacks to fill the bar. This will destroy the Ward. Elemental attacks that are aligned with the Night Soul (Natlan characters) are more effective at breaking through these defenses.
Outside of Natlan characters that was added in previous Genshin Update, bring off-field characters and characters that deal Elemental damage quickly to break through the shield faster.

As soon as their Ward Bar was full, they would revert back to their Chasmic Mimiflora state. They're pretty malleable when you get them back, with a moderate recovery time, so just go for it and do all the damage you can.

Mimiflora can be frozen by Freeze Team. This is great for keeping it still and slowing down how long it takes for the Ward to recover. However, the freeze will not be able to completely delay the shield's recovery timer. It will immediately restore the shield after 20 seconds once it is unfrozen. However, as long as the mimiflora is frozen, it will not be able to raise its shield.
