Copenhagen Flames Advances to Elisa Invitational Fall 2021 Finals

The Copenhagen Flames team will reach the final of the Elisa Invitational Fall 2021, where they will meet with the Bulgarian team Fiend. At the end of the semifinals, the Danes were stronger than Gambit with a score of 2: 0.

The semi-final meeting with the Gambit team began on the Ancient map, which was picked by the Danes once again. However, the “hosts” again proved that they did a great job on the map, showing two confident halves, thereby recording the victory with a 16:13 score.

Next, the teams got to the Mirage map, which was chosen by Gambit. However, already in the first half, Copenhagen Flames showed solid defense, gaining a two-fold advantage. The change of sides clearly did not benefit the Russian team, which, having lost the starting series, could at one moment find itself on the edge of the abyss. Nevertheless, Gambit gathered her thoughts to get closer to the opponent. But here Copenhagen Flames showed character again, sensationally beating the favorite - 16:13.

After this defeat, Gambit took 3-4 place at the Elisa Invitational Fall 2021, earning $ 6,000. In turn, Copenhagen Flames is waiting for the start of the final meeting, where they will play with Fiend.

The Elisa Invitational Fall 2021 tournament runs from September 13 to October 15. 28 teams are competing for a prize pool of $ 100,000, half of which will go to the winner of the championship.
