LaNm dissatisfied with the organization of The International

Yesterday, Zheng 'LaNm' Zhicheng posted a post on social media, in which he expressed his displeasure towards the organizers of the Dota 2 World Championship, called The International. According to him, players and other figures in the esports industry who have been infected with COVID-19 cannot receive normal assistance from qualified specialists. Affected players have not been pre-tested or isolated from members of the healthy community. Many teams suffer from lack of precautions, he said. GosuGamers editors believe that no one dares to say something bad to Valve, as everyone is afraid of losing the opportunity to participate in The International 10 or canceling the event.

Tiffany 'Oling' Lim, a Malaysian translator on behalf of LaNm, expressed his displeasure and wrote the following:

LaNm expressed disappointment at the lack of COVID-19 precautions at a bootcamp in Romania ahead of TI10. There was no preliminary testing, no food or water provided, so the managers went shopping. They had to ASK for coronavirus tests when they felt unwell.

"Is this really TI?"

They feel insecure because people are not wearing masks despite the rise in disease in Romania, and hotel bars are full of people. Players who tested positive were not given separate quarantine rooms. He's worried about other teams in the hotel.

On September 28, Team Aster representatives decided to test for COVID-19, as they felt physically unwell. The test results were positive for three players. assistant coach and one of the employees of the esports organization. According to the players, the illness goes away without any complications and they still plan to compete at The International 10. It is noteworthy that all the other participants of The International are in the same hotel as Aster and no precautions are taken, which was what the team coach was dissatisfied with., LaNm.

The post posted on social media by the Chinese mentor has been deleted. After that, he apologized to the PGL for having offended the tournament operator in his own words, accusing the latter of all the moments with which he was dissatisfied. He also noted that the camp before the championship in Romania was not a prerequisite for PGL, and the arrival of Team Aster was entirely the initiative of the Chinese team.

Despite this, he does not take his words that he is still dissatisfied with the level of preparation for The International and said that he has claims against Valve. According to him, at the championship with a prize fund of $ 40,000,000, they could at least provide water, food and medicine, which was not at the place of preparation for the event. He drew an analogy with WePlay AniMajor 2021, where all of the above was and was issued at the right time.

After LaNm's move, the Chinese community turned against Team Aster and Zheng 'LaNm' Zhicheng called the disaffected "bitten dogs." The latter accused Aster of being infected with COVID-19 and now putting other participants in the event at risk. The team coach said that this is an accident that can happen to absolutely every person.
