WePlay! announced Pushka League Season 2!
Recall that the Pushka League debut season was quite successful and was able to gather more than 775 thousand people at the screens. WePlay! conceived to make several changes in the league format. First of all, Pushka League is expanding into two regions. If earlier we could watch teams compete in Europe and the CIS, now teams from the American division (North and South America) and Asia (China and Southeast Asia) will join. Now in one division only one team from the organization will be able to speak and see the confrontations between OG and OG.Seed or between Virtus.pro and VP.Prodigy we can no longer.
The start of the league for the European and American divisions is scheduled for August 13. The championship in these regions will be held within one month and will end on September 13th. Details regarding the Asian division will be announced later.
The new season will bring together 72 teams from all three regions. For comparison, 22 teams fought in the first season.
32 teams will play in Europe, 16 of which will compete in the first division, 8 in the second and 8 in the third. In Asia and America, the situation is the same: 20 teams will fight for the championship, 12 of which will start in the first division, and 8 in the second.
As for the prize pool, Europe will have $ 265,000, $ 210,000 of which will be shared by representatives of the first division, $ 50,000 - teams from the second and $ 5,000 - from the third. In Asia, the teams of the first division will distribute $ 60,000 between each other, and the teams of the second division will divide $ 15,000. In America, the prize money is even less. $ 40,000 will be raffled off between teams from the first division, and a fund of $ 10,000 will be distributed in the second.
