The first open qualifier has come to an end. According to its results, it's coming rome and V-Gaming performed best. It's coming rome defeated Nemiga Gaming in the final match with a score of 2-0, while V-Gaming, in turn, defeated SUPER MEGA SQUAD with a similar result.
Matches in the second qualifying round are taking place right now. Nemiga Gaming are playing against Squelch Kommando in their last fight for the right to advance to the closed qualifying round. Brame and Creepwave are fighting for the same opportunity in a side-by-side match.
Through the second open qualifier, two teams will also enter the closed qualifiers. Eight teams will take part in the closed qualifier, half of which will receive direct invitations from the organizers. It is not yet known who will be included in the list of the lucky ones - the information will be released by ESL representatives later.
Among the eight teams, two invitations to ESL One Fall 2021 will be drawn. At the moment, we know the first five that have received direct invites from the organizers. The list of teams that will fight in ESL One Fall 2021 includes Alliance, Team Liquid, Team Spirit, T1 and Thunder Predator. In addition to the above teams, five more teams will receive direct invites. The total number of participants in the event will be 12 teams.
ESL One Fall 2021 will be held from August 21 to 29. The total prize pool of the championship will be $ 400,000. The main reward, for which 12 participants will compete, will be $ 175,000. The vice-champion will earn $ 85,000 in the tournament, and the bronze medalist - $ 45,000.
