We continue to watch Group A at Bali Major 2023 and are now talking about the Shopify Rebellion - Execration match. This match is one of the first round matches of the Basket A games on the third game day of the last Major a of the season.
To be fair, it's hard to call this match a revelation or The International a heresy match. As far as I'm concerned, we won't get much of a spectacle here.
Most likely, both teams will show plenty of faults in their matches and that could lead to inconsistent results. This seems to be the case because of the teams' performance in this particular tournament.
Let's try to see if either side can pick up a win for themselves and improve their performance in the group stage.
Shopify Rebellion form

Then there was The Berlin Major 2023 with a dismal top-12 and then the third round of DPC 2023: NA Division 1. The latter went better, with SR taking the top spot, guaranteeing themselves passage to The Bali Major 2023, and also actually qualifying for The International 2023.

At DreamLeague Season 20 SR again played with substitutes, but this time they failed to repeat the success of DL S19 period: Shopify Rebellion failed to pass the first DL group stage and, like Liquid, left the championship early.
As of the second game day, Shopify Rebellion are in the relegation zone. The squad is 2-4 and that's frankly bad, considering they're losing to Blacklist type teams.

Form Execration
Opposing Shopify Rebellion in this match will be Execration. The Southeast Asian resident is in underdog status.
The bookmakers confirm the state of affairs. The odds for Execration to win are in the region of 3.
In the case of Execration, number 3 is more of a praise for them than vice versa. Still, Shopify Rebellion is far more serious in terms of performance and personal execution than Execration, but the latter still retain a very realistic chance of pulling out a win.
In the first round of DPC 2023: SEA Upper Division Execration took first place in the home league. The team then played 7 matches and won 6 of them. Execration started their journey into the Bali Major 2023 with a loss against Invictus Gaming. G were one of the most passable teams, but Execration couldn't take a single loss, which makes their standing in the standings quite dire. Next was a more obvious defeat for Liquid, and then finally a draw against beascoast.

Previously, the teams have crossed paths with each other on the official stage. This was in DreamLeague Season 19 when Shopify edged Execration 2-0.

Prior to the Long Saugus bout I would have easily called Shopify Rebellion the winner of the match, but after the Long Saugus matches I'm not prepared to do so. I'll put my faith in the card taken by Execration.
