We continue our analysis of what's happening in the group stage of The Bali Major 2023. We talk about Group A and specifically the Liquid vs Tundra Esports match.
The encounter is clearly the centerpiece of the tour. The level of the teams contributes to this.

Things also went better on the international stage, at the ESL One Berlin Major 2023, where the reigning world champions, The International, finished in the top 6.
DPC Tundra returned to the top of the competitive dot in the third round. The reigning world champions of The International were ranked in the top 1 in their home league.

Tundra attended DreamLeague Season 20, but they didn't have much zeal to win there. The team failed to qualify for the first group stage, ending up in the top 9-10.
Perhaps the odds will be different closer to the game, but for now it's not clear where the Tundra advantage came from. After all, the team plays with substitutes, and before that they perform slightly worse than Liquid in the group stage, having the second place in the group, Ledgea leading exactly to Liquid.

Team Liquid form
Continuing the match review with an analysis of Team Liquid's playing form. In this match, the team will play in an unfamiliar role of underdog.
For some reason bookmakers do not particularly believe in Liquid's success, but they don't bury the Liquid either. The odds on Liquid's victory are around 3.6.
Where that figure comes from is a mystery. Yes, Liquid blatantly bogged down at the end of the regular season, somehow managed to finish DPC 2023: Tour 3 and were terrible at DreamLeague, but before that they showed themselves steadily well at the Major Aks, and at Bali they play at their peak.
At DPC 2023: WEU Division 1 Tour 1 Liquid did not lose a single match and then took the Top 2 at The Lima Major 2023 while playing with substitutes. More than worthy.
The second round of the DPC was as similar to the previous one as possible. Liquid again took the Top 1, but now with one defeat in the table. On the international stage, Liquid again shone, but were still overshadowed by Gaimin Gladiators, who took their second Major trophy of the season.
In the third season, Liquid were no longer able to clinch the premiership. "The Liquid fell to fourth place, but luckily this was enough to qualify for the Bali Major 2023, which makes no difference for Team Liquid that qualified for The International 2023.

After the disappointing result in DreamLeague Season 20, where Team Liquid were eliminated from the first group stage, there was a feeling that the Bali Major 2023 will be held for the Liquid on their "liquid" notes. However, Liquid decided to switch on and play their best.
Prior to their game with Tundra, Team Liquid hold the first position in the group stage. The team is 4-2 on the series and 10-2 on the map.
