Details announced Mid-Season Cup 2020
The tournament, as we knew earlier, will be held with the participation of the best teams from China and Korea. Invitations to the Mid-Season Cup 2020 were received by the top 4 teams of LPL Spring 2020 and the top 4 teams of LCK Spring 2020. The event will replace the canceled Mid-Season Invitational 2020 and will be held in an online format.
JPL Gaming, Top Esports, FunPlus Phoenix and Invitus Gaming have left the Spring 2020 LPL. Korea will be represented by T1, Gen.G Esports, DragonX and DAMWON Gaming.
Although the championship will be held in online format, the Koreans will visit LoL Park in the capital of their home country in order to fight the Chinese, and the latter will in turn play in a place called LPL Arena, which is located in Shanghai. The organizers of the meeting with the help of technical tricks plan to create good conditions for the game and make the same ping to all players.
The organizers talked about how groups were sown in groups.
Group A
- DAMWON Gaming
- FunPlus Phoenix
- T1
- Top Esports
Group B
- DragonX
- Gen.G Esports
- Invictus Gaming
- JD Gaming
Mid-Season Cup 2020 will be held from May 28 to May 31, and the total prize pool will be $ 600,000, which is not bad for a seasonal online championship for eight participants.
