PUBG Global Series 5 Preview
A new phase of PUBG Global Series 5 2024 with a prize pool of $300,000 will begin as early as October 21.
The tournament will be held in Bangkok from October 21 to 27.
The tournament will feature 24 teams from all regions.
The European region will be represented by: NAVI, Faze Clan, Twisted Minds, Eternal Fire and Acend.
Among the Asian representatives, there are mainly leading Chinese teams: Four Angry Men, NewHappy and others, but also teams from South Korea, Vietnam and other countries, such as The Expendables or T1.
The North American region will be represented by 4 American teams: Soniqs, TSM, Team Falcons and Brazilian team Luna Galaxy.
The tournament will also feature three homeland teams from Thailand: FW Esports, Theerathon Five and the region's top stars Daytrade Gaming.
Format and Main Rules
The teams will be divided into 3 groups of 8 teams each. Each group plays against other groups in round robin system (AvsB, BvsC & AvsC)
6 matches per Group match-up (In total, each team plays 12 matches equally).
Teams placements are based on all 18 matches and Top 16 teams advance to the Grand Finals.
Bottom 8 teams will be eliminated.
The Grand Final stage will be held from October 25th - 27th in which 18 matches will be played to determine the winner of the tournament.
1st place will receive $100,000 and PGS 300 points.
Also recall that the last tournament in the series was won by Twisted Mind.
