FULL SENSE wins VCT 2021: APAC Last Chance Qualifier
The VCT 2021: APAC Last Chance Qualifier has come to an end. At the tournament, which was held from 11 to 17 October in the online, ten teams from Asia were fighting for a ticket to VALORANT Champions 2021. The champion of the tournament was the team FULL SENSE, which beat Northeption grand final with a score of 3: 2 (Ascent - 9:13 ; Icebox - 13:11; Bind - 16:18; Split - 13: 7; Haven - 13: 8).
For FULL SENSE, the tournament began with the quarterfinals, in which the team from Thailand defeated REJECT (2: 1) and advanced to the next round. In the semifinals, the team literally swept NUTURN Gaming out of the way (2: 1), showing extremely confident play on the Ascent map.
However, in the final of the upper bracket, the team could not cope with Northeption (1: 2), being forced to go to the lower bracket. Here FULL SENSE defeated DAMWON Gaming (2: 0) without any problems in order to get the opportunity for a rematch with Northeption.
The final match was played on an equal footing, even if the starting advantage was still in favor of the Japanese team. However, on the last two maps, FULL SENSE managed to collect her thoughts, thereby burying her opponent's chances at VALORANT Champions 2021.
