VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025: T1 Esports Become the Second Finalist Of the Tournament
T1 Esports have sensationally advanced to the grand final of VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025. In the semifinals, T1 defeated the tournament favorites, EDward Gaming, with a score of 3:1. Match details are below.
The first map of the matchup was Bind, chosen by EDward Gaming. The Chinese team started on attack but managed to win only three rounds. After switching sides, there was no comeback in defense, as EDward Gaming secured just one more round. Bind ended with a score of 13:4 in favor of T1 Esports.
The second map was Haven, where the match was much closer. EDward Gaming started on attack and secured eight rounds. However, T1 Esports performed just as well, if not better, on offense. This was reflected in the final score, as EDward Gaming failed to close out the map on defense, allowing T1 Esports to win 13:10.
The third map was Fracture, where both teams fought all the way into overtime. EDward Gaming managed to close out the game in the first overtime, winning the map 14:12.
On Split, T1 Esports started on defense and won the first half with a 7:5 scoreline. Despite securing five rounds on attack, EDward Gaming failed to win a single round on defense, ultimately losing 13:5.
With this loss, EDward Gaming's journey at VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025 comes to an end, finishing in third place. The grand final will take place on March 2, featuring a showdown between G2 Esports and T1 Esports.
