The North America Stage 1 Challengers 1 has come to an end - the first stage of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021. The Sentinels team became the champion of the North America Stage 1 Challengers 1, which beat the Immortals (3: 1) in the grand final, despite the starting advantage of one map last.

The Sentinels did not start the championship in the most successful way, losing to Luminosity Gaming (0: 2). Falling into the lower bracket, the team quickly recovered, beating Andbox (2: 0), Gen.G Esports (2: 1) and XSET (2: 0) before reaching the final of the “losers” bracket. Here the Sentinels took revenge on Luminosity Gaming (2: 1), earning a place in the grand final of the championship.

Immortals, on the other hand, spent the entire championship in one breath, first beating XSET (2: 1), and then Gen.G Esports (2: 0). In the final of the upper bracket, the team defeated Luminosity Gaming (2: 1), thus securing a place in the grand final and a one-map advantage.

At the end of the tournament, four teams qualified for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 2 - Sentinels, Immortals, Luminosity Gaming and XSET.
