In the opening match of VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík, the Fnatic
team beat KRÜ Esports with a score of 2: 0 without any problems.
It seemed like we were in for a fun game given the starting zeal from the South American squad. Interestingly, KRÜ Esports managed to win four pistol rounds out of four. But the lack of a clear idea resulted in a total defeat from Fnatic, who had no difficulty in closing the opponent on Haven (13: 5). As sad as all this may sound, KRÜ Esports was unable to collect its thoughts on Icebox either, over and over again stumbling upon its own powerlessness against the shooting of a European opponent. As a result, Fnatic won the second map with the same confidence (13: 4), going to the next round.
In the next round, Fnatic will face the Sentinels, while KRÜ Esports will face the loser of the Version1 - Crazy Raccoon pair.
VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík runs from May 24th to 30th. Top 10 teams from different regions compete for $ 600,000 plus 2,350 Champions Tour Points.
